MMF Aust. is a member of the IMMF which was formed to represent the worldwide community of music managers at the international level. The IMMF's membership is formed of the country-level associations of music managers.

The IMMF's main objective is the defence of, and promotion of, the interests of music managers and their clients, the featured artists, who represent 95% of the economic activity generated by the music sector throughout the world.
