You’ll hear tips and tricks to make your music video stand out from the rest.
Forum Speakers:
Natasha Pincus, director of award-winning music videos for many of Australia’s favourite musicians, including Gotye, Powderfinger, Paul Kelly and Sarah Blasko.
Sarah Hickey Managing Director at Monster and Bear Productions, a Melbourne boutique production company specialising in documentary film-making and music videos.
Darcy Prendergast runs his animation/film company OH YEAH WOW working with artists such as Gotye, Kate Miller Heidke, Regurgitator, Passenger, Eskimo Joe, Art Vs Science and All India Radio, with many more on the go.
Warwick Field, began working in-house for the camera department of Melbourne-based Production Company, Total Film Productions under cinemtographer Ernie Clark ACS, doing TVC's and Corporate work. His duties later extended to film editing there until he left 2 years later to go freelance as Clapper Loader on a TV Series. This well-rounded beginning has led to a career in Film and TV focussing mainly on drama and TVC cinematography in which he has performed the roles of Clapper Loader, Focus Puller, Camera Operator and DP and Colorist.
His credits range from TV Series such as Mission:Impossible, Dunera Boys, Bony, Dolphin Cove, Secret Life Of Us, Rush, Nightmares and Dreamscapes and The Pacific, through to features including The Fringe Dwellers, Father, Ground Zero, Queen of the Damned, Horseplay, Josh Jarman, The Dish, Where The Wild Things Are, Ghost Rider and Knowing. There have been too many TVCs to mention.
Music Video credits include Paul Kelly "God Told Me To", End Of Fashion "Fussy", Pete Murray "Chance To Say Goodbye", Something For Kate "Whatever You Want", Falloe'"Science Of The Heart", Sarah Blasko "We Won't Run", Powderfinger "Burn Your Name", Gotye "Somebody That I Used To Know", and Missy Higgins "Unashamed Desire".
