Covering the issues and challenges around international touring as well as information on key funding opportunities and grant periods for international touring artists, tonight's Forum includes :

Tonight MMF NSW welcomes two very special panelists with a wealth experience from the past through to the present :
Tyson Royle
One of Australia's leading Tour Managers, Tyson has over a decade's experience working as Tour Manager for a number of Australia's leading acts both domestically and internationally. Internationally, he's worked as the Tour Manager for The Vines, The Grates, The Drones, Regurgitator, Resin Dogs, Bic Runga and Matt Costa, giving him a wealth of experience working in a number of foreign territories and a first hand grasp on the logisitcal, budgetry and day to day challenges Australian touring acts can face on foreign shores.
Richard Cartwright
A record industry legend, Richard Cartwright has worked as a record plugger in LA, toured with Motley Crue on their aptly named "Girls Girls Girls" tour in 1987, was label manager for Festival and was one of the team who launched The Police in Australia. Currently he tours a number of rock acts throughout the UK and Europe. Richard offers a rare opportunity to get first-hand views on touring then compared to now. Richard is also a film producer, lecturer and consultant to music artists.
Attendees will also receive information on key grant funding rounds and grant options for international touring.
